Polar Stratospheric Clouds over The Angel of the North, Gateshead. They were visible all day, but started fading around sunset, unlike yesterday when they were brightest around 40 minutes after the sun went down.

Amazing couple of days here. Nearly stopped on the Blaydon Bridge yesterday morning to get a stunning shot up the Tyne..but thought the other motorists on the A1 might not understand !
