Mercury is rising in the Eastern horizon sky making 5 planets now visible in the morning sky-Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter. First image is Mercury at altitude of 1d 19" with Venus above. Canon T6s, 50mm f/2.8, iso 800, 1s. exp. on 2016/01/21 UT12:57. Second image is cropped portion of a wide field 6.5mm f/3.5, iso 800, 1s exp. showing Mercury, Venus and Saturn. Third images is the wide field shot showing all five planets taken with Canon T6s, 6.5mm fisheye at UT 13:02. Click on the images to enlarge for detail and labels.
