Another great night in Abisko! I received a call from a friend around 4:30 PM alerting me to the fact that the lights had started and that there was a large band of auroras dancing next to the moon - this was when I knew the night had potential. A few hours later I went out to set up our location for tonights aurora photo tour when the sky erupted into a very powerful display - this could only mean that we would have another great tour once our guests arrived. Our group of eight guests were treated to one of the best displays of the season and the lights are still dancing as I type this message at midnight. The Solar maximum may be over but the sky above Abisko National Park is still glowing nearly every night. What a season!
