Details:
Escambia Amateur Astronomers member Andy Walker used his Samsung Note 3 Smartphone and iOptron Smartphone adapter to photograph three different views of the Sun's AR 2480, on the western limb today. The visible sun is with a Orion Eon 72 with 2.5" Draco Baader Solar filter. The hydrogen alpha image is with a Coronado 60. The CaK image is with a 70mm homebuilt, using B1200 Lunt CaK filter. This shows that CaK imaging with Smartphones is difficult, but promising.
