Details:
This photo was taken a couple of days ago when we had -24°C and today I also witnessed another similar halo. Cold clear mid winter days like these are my favorite. The warm light is just amazing to work with and often there are lots of ice crystals in the air that can produce exciting atmospheric phenomena like this 22° halo, here seen with two prominent sun dogs on each side of the Sun. The coming days also looks to be really cold so lets hope for more halos. See more of my images on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/astrofotografen Göran Strand
