Details:
Tonight, the Aurora forecast was very low, and so was the activity with a Kp value of 0 at the moment when I went out. I believe that earth is no longer in the stronger stream of solar wind due to the large coronal hole that passed the centre of the sun a few days ago. However, being located almost under the Aurora oval here in Inari, Finnish Lapland, we had a beautiful show for about half an hour before local midnight. So I count this as another successful night for me here in the Arctic!
