Another great night in Abisko! Tonight our group of nine guests enjoyed the the best show of 2016! I was preparing for tonights tour when I received a text from my coworker Oliver Wright informing me that a nice band was developing in the southern portion of the sky - when this happens it is always a good sign! The lights started as a large hydrogen arc and quickly developed into a powerful display that lasted all night long. The lights are still dancing above Abisko but extremely cold temperatures drove us back to the hotel around midnight. Nights like this remind me just how lucky I am to live and work in such an amazing place!
