You can now see four planets (Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Saturn)rising in the Eastern morning sky before sunrise. Image is from 12/23 UT12:47 taken with Canon T1i, 7.5mm fisheye f/3.5, iso 1600, 30s exp. Jupiter is between Leo and Virgo. Mars is next to Spica, Virgo. Venus is in the middle of Libra and Saturn in Scorpius. All are visible naked eye. Comet C/2013 US10 (Catalina) at about 6.5m is between Virgo and Bootes and needs binoculars or a telescope to see. The SkyXPro chart shows the field of view. Mercury will join the parade in late January making all 5 naked eye visible planets viewable in the morning for early 2016 !
