Details:
After several days of welcome rain, clear skies returned to Mutare to provide an unobstructed view of the Summer Solstice Sunset. The four pictures at increasing magnification show the Solstice Sun setting on the right hand side of Hospital Hill before disappearing under a balancing rock near the summit. They were taken between 18.23 and 18.24 LT using a hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera in intelligent auto mode.
