Details:
I watched the display for an hour between about 7:30 and 8:30pm. During that time it appeared as a diffuse glow across the Northern horizon. For a few minutes at about 7:55pm it became much brighter and this is when I took the picture. Although brief, it was the best display of Aurora that I have personally seen since the last solar cycle.
