Picture this, your happily munching into a pizza, with the intention of heading out very soon to photograph the aurora but conscious you need food for warmth first. The front door then slams, footsteps come racing down the corridor and follows with a knock on my door "Sarah, I am not sure if you are interested but there is already a massive aurora outside". Interested? Are you kidding me! So, within a nano second I am outside and down at the lake and wow, it was some amazing aurora as it danced merrily over Lapportan. What a great night off!
