Details:
Last night I had an evening off from guiding in Abisko, the skies were clear and with an average aurora forecast plus the prospect of seeing the Gemini meteor shower I 'hot-footed' it down to the lake. In the course of around 2.5hours I must have seen at least 7 or 8 Geminids but it was not until the very last one and just before I headed back home that I finally managed to get a shot of the meteor together with the aurora lightly reflecting on Lake Tornetrask! Patience always pays off!
