I was extremely lucky to capture some images of this beautiful conjunction before cloud covered the whole sky in a matter of seconds…I had to be very quick, but I got my shots :-) I also noticed that there was a bright star very close to Venus in the image but could not find it on any of my starchart Apps, perhaps somebody out there knows which one it was in Virgo... Image was taken at 3.55am (AEST) on the 8th December 2015 with a Canon 7D camera and a 70-300mm lens at 160mm (Image is cropped) exposure time was 2 seconds and ISO800.
