Details:
Clouds did a good job of hiding Comet Catalina at this morning's conjunction. However, the clouds added some nice corona diffraction colors around the waning Moon and Venus at dawn. The comet shows up, barely, in one exposure as a small blue spot beside the brilliant Moon-Venus duo. As the sky brightened the pairing made a beautiful sight in the sunrise sky from Arizona. These shots are blends of various exposures, from short to long, to compress the large range in brightness, with blending via luminosity masks.
