Details:
This is the second bright Geminid photographed well in advance of next week's shower. This pair was photographed at 12:50 am on December 6th. One camera was a Nikon D800 with a Sigma 8 mm fisheye lens on a stationary tripod and the other photo is from Nikon D7100 mounted on an iOptron motor drive centered on Castor at 18 mm F4. Looking forward to the main event with the Geminids already yielding bright meteors.
