Details:
After a spell of little activity in the night skies our hopes weren't too high for good auroras, especially as there was almost a full moon in the sky. Just shows how quickly you can be proved wrong - this display came out of nowhere and danced for over an hour! It was so bright and fast we had to shoot 1 second exposures
