Another great night in Abisko! Tonight our group of ten guests from all around the world enjoyed a light show that many of the members of our group described as the greatest natural display they had ever seen! We had clear skies in Abisko National Park so we were confident that we would see a calm display but we had no idea that we would see anything like the event that we witnessed this evening. The display started as a small green curtain right next to the moon and developed into a powerful corona that lasted for several minutes before slowly transitioning into what can only be described as a multi coloured explosion of light that filled the sky from one horizon to another. The most amazing thing about the entire display is the fact that the KP index never climbed higher than a two. It goes to show that everything boils down to being in the right place at the right time!
