Details:
An atypical aurora for NW Wyoming tonight, a strong display, easily visible to the naked eye, with more green than we usually see here but almost no rays. These shots were taken a few minutes after local midnight. The mountain in the foreground is Heart Mountain, a local landmark a few miles north of Cody, WY.
