Details:
The southern Taurid meteor shower peeks tonight between midnight and dawn. Two nights ago, the Andromeda galaxy watched above our roiling clouds that partially veiled the northern lights (bottom left) and meteors streaking across our own Milky Way galaxy. This streak traces back towards a region between the Pleiades and Aldebaran (in Taurus), so I suspect that it was a northern Taurid meteor. Seen from the shore of Lake Koocanusa in northwestern Montana.
