Details:
Yesterday afternoon I was able to image the giant sunspot AR2443 both in white and hydrogen alpha light. AR2443 measures more than 200,000 km long or more than half the distance from the earth to the moon! I was also able to capture the large prominences at the Sun's SW limb using my Lunt 100 mm hydrogen alpha telescope.
