Another great night in Abisko! Tonight our group of seven guests started the evening with low expectations but were pleasantly surprised by a powerful display that lasted for nearly an hour. The show started as a classic green "rainbow" but quickly developed into three bands. Several minutes later a large hydrogen arch appeared in the east, which usually means that the activity is about to increase - and it absolutely did! The display grew into a massive show that covered nearly the entire sky and impressed our entire group. Even the bright light of the rising Moon was no match for the auroras. What a fantastic night!!
