"Massive attack" - A massive aurora over my hometown "Tromsø" this friday After a whole week of shooting the auroras in the various locations, in the mountains, at lakes, in the archipelagos, I figured I could afford to try some shots in the city. So many times I have shot from this location, and this Friday, October 9th, I was treated with perhaps the most massive aurora I have ever witnessed! Right there over the city :) No wonder Tromsø is referred to as the "northern lights city" ? :) The auroras were so strong and massive at times many shots were overexposed, I had to continuously lower the exposure not to burn out the auroras. I have never in my life and time as a photographer witnessed this amount of pink auroras, just MASSIVE! Right over my head! Ole
