Details:
Decided to try and take some shots of the aurora on a flight from Edinburgh to Reykjavik. It was difficult at first, as the aurora was just a relatively weak arc and the cabin lights were on, but all of a sudden the aurora burst into life, and the Captain of the Easyjet flight was kind enough to dim the lights so everyone could see the fantastic show on our decent. Taken at 2115 UTC with a Canon 6d, Sigma 24mm lens, f2.8, ISO6400, 1/2 sec exposure.
