Purple sky: While I was checking my equipment and preparing for another long Aurora night, I was test-shooting through my office window at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Suddenly the sky exploded in Aurora, colouring the sky purple. It lastet for about 30 seconds, and I have never seen anything like it before. The rest of the night had plenty of Aurora action, with the normal green, red and purple.
