Details:
One of the strongest auroras I have witnessed from Tasmania, southern hemisphere. You could see it clearly with the naked eyes, which is usually not the case.
Still this was a 30 sec exposure at f/3.5 taken with a Nikkor 10-24 mm attached to a Nikon D5000.
