Details:
Last Sunday's eclipse had both remarkable color glowing red in the sky and context with the ruby moon embedded in stars like diamonds. After a weekend working with the files acquired these two photo's represent this color and context. Color in a montage of three images acquired with a Questar Q3.5 with a Nikon D800 and context with a Nikon D7100 using a 300 mm lens with a 1.7X teleconverter. All images are single images, shot raw, and adjusted with Photoshop to try to recreate what my eye saw. It was a quite beautiful eclipse in Tucson.
