I'm stunned that 30 minutes after sunrise I could see Aldebaran just prior to being eclipsed by the moon! I left some foreground palm leaves in the shot just to demonstrate this. Canon 2Ti, ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/320 second exposure. Image at 6:55am (exif data off by a few minutes), local sunrise was 6:22am.

I also got it after it came out on the right; but its much harder to spot in the image as the sky was just that much brighter a full hour and a half after sunrise!! --Russ
