Details:
This is a final mosaic I did of all the phases (from start to full eclipse). Resolution is very high and allowed to keep loads of details through a powerful Ritchey Chretien scope. Made using an Altair Astro 8" RC Astrograph plus Nikon D750 full frame. What I love of this picture is the composition and natural colours from the bright white moon of the start of the eclipse till the end red moon under full shadow. I shoot hundred of pics across three hours, trying different exposures to always find a perfect balance between shadows and highlights to save as many details as possible in both regions (possible thanks to the use of a full frame DSLR). So I went manually through hundreds of pictures to choose the best ones from each series, then the best moments across all the eclipse phases. When I combined these four, I loved how they got a some kind of '3d perspective', with some interesting light effects as well (top right red moon seems shadowing a red cast reflection on the bottom right moon). Not the most original or difficult object, I usually image only deep sky, but probably one of the best images I ever took.
