Details:
This was the Full Moon rising in partial eclipse on Sept 27, with the Moon sitting in the blue shadow of the Earth projected onto our atmosphere, while the shadow of the Earth is also projected out into space and onto the Moon itself, creating the eclipse. I shot this from Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park in southern Alberta.
