In an UnsharpMask copy of the image of the halo in Independence, CA, image from Stephen McGreevy, there are several uncommon features. See: a = 22degs ring, bbb = 22degs circumscribed halo, c = suncave Parry arc, d = upper Lowitz arc, e = lower Lowitz arc, ff = parhelic circle.

A faint lower Lowitz arc can even be traced from the parhelion upward (route plusminus bec and further upward)
