Waiting for the Lunar Eclipse !
Here is the recent image from Carnegie Las Campanas observatory in Atacama desert in Chile. The astronomers went outside the telescope to enjoy beautiful Moonset. The eclipse is tomorrow and we cannot wait for it ! Orion, Aldebaran, and Pleiades nicely aligned just above the dome of 6.5-m Magellan telescope. The Moon illuminates the foreground. I hope you'll enjoy the view.
