The Equinox sunrise at the Heel stone, Stonehenge, Wiltshire. The small A344 road has been taken up and seeded with Grass. The guardians of Stonehenge, English Heritage have placed a brass arrow across the road to mark the point of sunrise on the Summer Solstice in line with Avenue. This shows how much the sun has traveled along the horizon in 3 months. Orion over Stonehenge before dawn.
