Details:
Cloudy weather seemed to disturb a good 8th Aurora observation in Salla. But what a scenery! On the ground was a light fog bank, together with a passing by low clouds formation illuminated by the orange street lights, higher noctilucent clouds were seen together with faint green auroras shining between and through the clouds. Several satellites fly by's, a meteor and in a lake nearby the young whooper swans were trompeting and flapping in the water training for their first take off. Autumn colours in daytime, auroras during nighttime: a wonderful combination!
