Details:
Todays image regarding the Active Region labeled 2403.
The seeing was collaborative (for a little while) and I managed to capture enough frames to create this final image. The overall dimension is truly great, I estimated it is around 170000 km in length (a little more than Jupiters equatorial diameter), with the deep cores being more wide than our Earth! And the intermediate region between them is so full of darker filaments and pores. Truly an awesome sight on our parent star!
Instrumentation: SkyWatcher BlackDiamond Newton 200/1000 on EQ5 Motor - Astrosolar Filter - Barlow 3x COMA Apo/Apla - ASI 120 MM - 600 frames stacked on 6000. Elaborted with AS!2, Registax 6.1 and Photoshop CC.
