Very nice night to shoot meteors; shower peak, no moon, and clear! This is a composite of my 30 brightest Perseids. There's a glow from the Aurora Borealis that was putting on a show to the north! Here's a link to a time-lapse that has all 66 meteors I caught that night. most are tiny puffs, but they show up well if you load the video in 1080p or higher. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el2Q0Pxm9i8&feature=youtu.be There's also one still of the Southern Milky Way with a nice Perseid, (wasn't done burning before my shutter closed):, and one nice non-Perseid from the night of the 16th. Canon 550d, 18-55 @ 18mm, f3.5, ISO3200 for 13 seconds.
