Details:
Traffic near the Sun is currently intense as Jupiter (approaching it) and Venus (at inferior conjunction) both reached 8° elongation this evening, after sinking in the twilight. The second and third photos show Jupiter, currently hidden in the glare of the Sun, setting behind a nearby building. In contrast, Mercury is climbing and has now become a very easy target at dusk for observers in the Southern Hemisphere. Adding to the display, the 30-hour old Moon appeared. The first photo shows Mercury at the top and the Moon hiding behind the building. A Canon SX60 HS camera was used for the shots, taken around 21:00 UT.
