AR2396 is departing with very little coming to replace it. Have been trying some of Sergio's suggestions with SharpCap 2.6 and my DMK41. I think there is less noise in these 2 images. TS 115 mm APO triplet; Baader wedge; DMK41; 3X Barlow; SharpCap 2.6; Registax 6; PSP7.

Very good, Bill !
It is becoming a difficult target for the granules.
I was clouded with stormy and rainy weather during 2 days in here.
I had to pack-indoor all the instruments :-(
I just could take one video this evening with the Sun less than 10° above horizon...no granules :-(
Will be better to-morrow, perhaps...

Thanks Bernard. Sergio has been providing me with suggestions to reduce noise in Registax 6 - I think theyre working. Also trying our SharpCap 2.6 which works better with my DMK41 than does FireCapture 2.3. So, progress is being made - now we need another big sunspot. Hope your weather improves.
