Details:
To mark this month's Blue Moon and for a fun experiment for the group, we decided to modify our "Lunar Module" (eyepiece, stick, tape, ping pong ball, and a telescope) by using a blue ping pong ball instead of a white one. Nice to see lunar features in their correct proportions using an actual moon projection on a curved surface - and in a proverbially correct colour. Great fun!

Your experiment of projecting the Moon onto a ping pong ball is a wonderful idea. I am really impressed with your creativity.
