Details:
As light from the 94% illuminated Moon shone through a thin mantle of Altocumulus perlucidus clouds, interacting with small water droplets of nearly uniform size, coherent diffraction occurred. The resulting colorful patterns are shown in the photos, taken with a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera at 21:16 UT. Saturn and Scorpius can be seen in the last image, captured with a lower zoom in order to show the interesting stream-like formation entirely.
