Details:
From the vicinity of Kiel in Northern Germany, I captured these sprites (my first ever!) appearing over a big thunderstorm over the north sea around (true) local midnight (around 23:18 UTC or 01:18 CEST). I thougt it was actually too bright for that, so I was really surprised to see them in such brightness and color on my (wide angle!) images. I didn't see them with the naked eye though. Taken at 16mm on a Canon 7D, 3.2s, f/2.8, ISO3200

Excellent Capture!!! I just shared it with my friends at: International Observers of Upper-Atmospheric Electric Phenomena
and they loved it also.
