There was a small flare in AR2373 this morning. You can see the start of it at around 13:53 UTC in one photo and then the tail end of it at 14:04 in the other.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
