Details:
Seeing the two brightest planets so unusually close (only 0.3° apart) is not something that happens very often. It was certainly an amazing display in spite of the cloudy sky. The photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera around 21:00 UT and show Venus and Jupiter mostly shining through a blanket of altostratus clouds.
