Take a look at these 40sec. exposures. Could they be the same object viewed by some in the Central Time zone? Very humid here in southeast. I increased saturation from 100 to 125.

YES, clearly, its the Vega launcher (from Kourou) upper stage burn, as described on the Spaceweather main page on June 24th. Read it here :
