Details:
The first quarter Moon was passing meridian ... It was only 6 PM DST. I was considering doing high resolution later with my 16" dobson but clouds came in ... What is left is this mosaic of 29 single frames I did at the begining with a Canon 500D and a 1.6 barlow. The black leftover rectangles of the mosaic were filled with Inpaint. To give an idea of the size of the mosaic, the huge resulting image is here reduce at 50% size to be in the 1MB limit.
