Details:
Normally I have to look to the north to observe the Aurora but this night it was more directly overhead and pretty much enveloping the entire sky. I used my Brothers Nikon D300 with my 18-300mm lens set to ISO 200 10 second exposure at f3.5, the first few were out of focus before i realized it and I thought I had set the ISO higher. I had my Nikon D7000 set up to take a time-lapse with a 6MM fish-eye lens.
