Details:
In the twilight of the northern sky I was looking for possible aurora. Monday, June 22nd, at 2208 UT no trace of aurora but near the horizon a weak but clearly visible NLC formation. This display was my first this season. The structure and brightness were not very impressive but in animation a clear drift from the Northeast could be recognized. Enhancing one of the images in brightness and contrast delivers some extra details (upper image). Camera: Canon EOS 20D, exp time 20 sec., lenses 85 mm, f=5.6, ISO 200.
