Details:
After seeing a sudden "bloom" in the auroral oval, I headed up to my aurora viewing site and immediately could tell there was activity. Out there with me was an ample supply of mosquitos and a chorus of coyotes in the background. Canon 5DMk3 with an adapted Nikon 15mm F3.5 super wide lens.
