Details:
We are now back in our home town of Worthing on the South Coast of the UK and last night we couldn't resist the opportunity of getting to see the Aurora back near our UK home! The cloud scuppered that at the beginning so we drove to a known dark spot and there she was, at first a little green on the horizon and then the green all but disappeared and made way for a huge purple/pink cloud as we got to see the higher parts of the display. This was all between about 23:30 and 01:30 UK time (GMT+1) when the Kp was hitting around 8-9 and the Bz was very South! Wow! This is the first time we've seen her outside of Scandinavia!
