Details:
I chased storms and into clear skies to capture the configuration of the waxing crescent Moon, Venus and Jupiter on June 19, 2015. This was the sight from southern Alberta, Canada. Clouds covered the worlds after I took the vertical shot so I drove west, as the approaching storm headed east, and managed to get into clear skies again to get the horizontal shot, finding a convenient fence to serve as a composition element. Both are 5-image high dynamic range HDR stacks, to retain detail in the bright sky and dark foreground.
