Details:
A few minutes of good seeing conditions this morning allowed me to capture some high-resolution images of this spectacular new sunspot. This image (a mosaic of two frames) was taken using an 8-inch SCT fitted with a Baader AstroSolar Safety Film white-light solar filter. It’ll be interesting to see how this spot develops in the coming days.
